Vacidea only collects the data necessary to operate the service:
- Google account information (first name, email, photo) when signing in with Google OAuth
- Destinations saved to favorites
- Text of searches performed (to improve results)
- Starting geographic coordinates, only if you provide them
2. How data is used
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Personalize destination recommendations
- Keep your favorites between sessions
- Improve search result quality
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
3. Third-party services
Vacidea uses the following services:
- Google Places API — place search (Google LLC)
- Groq / Llama — natural language processing (Groq Inc.)
- Geoapify — geolocation and address autocomplete
- Google OAuth 2.0 — optional authentication
4. Cookies
Vacidea uses a secure session cookie (HttpOnly) to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies are set.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your data
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
- Right to portability

6. Data retention period
Account and favorite data are kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the settings.
